On December 21, a new production of diesel fuel was launched at the TANECO refinery complex in Nizhnekamsk. The medium distillate hydrotreating unit was built in three years.
The plant will annually process about 3.7 million tons of raw materials. More than 16 billion rubles were invested in the project, and its implementation lasted for three years. In total, Tatneft has invested about 400 billion rubles in the implementation of the TANECO project where 95% of the installation equipment was made in Russia. The refining depth is 99%, and the yield of light oil products is consistently above 80%. The assortment includes about 20 types of products, including such premium oil products as motor gasolines, diesel fuel that meet the requirements of Euro-6 engines, and aviation kerosene.
This year, four new high-tech installations have already been commissioned at the TANECO complex.
Thanks to the commissioning of the facility, the annual production of diesel fuel in accordance with the environmental standards for Euro-6 engines will increase to 7.6 million tons. Also, the production of fuel for jet engines will reach 1 million tons per year. “This is our contribution to the development of the economy of Tatarstan and Russia,” said Nail Maganov, General Director of Tatneft.
